Loneliness

Loneliness is one of the cruelest tricks of the enemy. It causes people to do things they wouldn’t otherwise do. Some people drown themselves in self-pity, alcohol, food, drugs, sex, porn you name it. All to fill a void of what is missing from their lives or what they think is missing. Have you ever found yourself wasting time with someone you didn’t even like? Maybe you found yourself going places or doing things that you would not otherwise do. The definition of loneliness is sadness because one has no friends or isolated. A person can be in a room full of people and yet feel lonely because the connection is not there. Hebrews 13:5 tells us that the Lord wants us to be content with the things that we have because He will never leave us or forsake us. You see God is right there with you right now. He never left your side; you just need to be reconnected to Him to know that He is right there. The cares of this life have choked out the word of God in your life that is why II Timothy 2:4 says that no man that warreth entangles himself with the affairs of this life in order to please Him who has chosen them to be a soldier. We look more on what we think we have lost or never gained as a problem instead of praising the problem solver. When we lift up our praise unto God from a sincere heart, He will raise us from our present state of mind into the glorious presence of His Spirit. Were the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. You have no loneliness in His presence just alone time with Him. Get into His presence right now and experience the warmth of His love.
